International Women's Day Hop - 2021

Hello Friends,

Welcome to our 3rd International Women's day Celebration Hop  - 2021. First, I'm wishing all the wonderful women out here a HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY.

Lots of amazing sponsors are not only sponsoring our hop, but some are also taking part in the hop line by sharing their inspirations. We are more than grateful to all our sponsors, without whom our hop could not be a great success.

For more information about the prizes they are offering, check out the link here

My card for the hop

Flowers never cannot smile despite having a brief life span. So are women, who never cannot spread happiness despite going through daily challenges. They work all day long to keep things in order and hardly get recognised for their efforts. Don't they deserve the much needed break from their daily routines?! Let's support them for what they are and appreciate their efforts often because a little love and care goes a long way.

My Card - Rocking Flowers (Action Mode)

I illustrated this whimsical lady, and the flowers are some random pick from Pinterest. I'm so fortunate to find these doodled flowers as they pair well with my illustration. It was a happy accident.

I'm sharing the image and the template for the mechanism here as follows. You can download and use it.

Diwali blog hop - 2019

Hello friends,

I'm Raga here.

Hope you're all in full swing for Diwali celebration.

For those who are not aware of Diwali (for my international friends), here is a short description.

Diwali

Diwali, or Deepawali, is India's biggest and most important holiday of the year. The festival gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness. This festival is as important to Hindus as the Christmas holiday is to Christians.

Diwali is a five day festival of lights celebrated by the Hindus, Sikhs and Jains for a variety of reasons, although the main theme which runs throughout is the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.

To celebrate, houses are decorated with candles and colourful lights and huge firework displays are held while families feast and share gifts.

 Blog Hop

To make the celebration more joyful, we have come up with a blog hop filled with wonderful inspirations and generous sponsors. Special thanks to all the sponsors for taking this hop to next level.

Special thing about this hop: Card Drive

As we are neck-deep in our celebrations, surrounded by our families, it would really be ungrateful if we miss to remember all those Real-life heros who make it possible for us to enjoy all this securely and fearlessly, in our homes. As a token of our gratitude and to acknowledge their   sacrifice for us, we sent out handmade cards to a few Army and Air Force units all over our country, as a part of this hop. A small effort from our side to convey that they are in our thoughts and prayers.
This was made possible by our teammie Ishani , who herself is a part of the Indian Air Force family.

These are the cards that were sent to the brave hearts from my side. I'm so happy as they were acknowledged by them with thanks and simple sweet talk over phone. We are so proud and grateful to honour our real heroes on this occasion.

Thankful card

Hello friends,

Happy Monday everyone. Fall is here and it's time to thank someone who is doing wonderful things for you. So I do thank my family and friends for everything ( Please dodo vis my previous post to see a thank you card that I made for my friends). Here is a card that I made using freebies from create a smile challenge blog. Let's have a look,

How generous of this bird to help this small ant. ( Though it's not a big thing for the bird as it's fall 😅). Those who know the story of bird and ant story can understand what I mean here 😀. ( The moral of the story is 'if you do good, it will come back to you' also 'you should not forget those who help you'). I thank my lovely husband for giving me a wonderful and secured life and i'm so grateful for every little things he do. Also I thank all of my friends in this crafting community for helping me grow. 😊💕

I hope this card brings smile on your face.

This bird is so versatile that I made one more card just contrast to this fall card. So stay tuned.

Punctuation Smiley

Hello crafty peeps,

Hurrah!! I'm so thrilled to be guest designing at CASology this week.

Thank you so much Melissa and team for this great opportunity.

The cue card at CASology for this week is 'Punctuation'.

You all may come across puctuation humours and obviously you all know how much punctuation matters! So definitely it's such an interesting cue with lots of possibilities.

Without further ado, let's see my take on this cue,

I used semicolon and parentheses (punctuation smiley) as my focal point with a pop of color (pink). The bold sentiment is handwritten by me. Hope you all liked my take and it's worth to stop by at CASology blog for more inspirations from DTs.

I'm joining in at,

Time out challenge,

Stamploration anything goes Cas challenge

Hugs!

Let's go for the show off,

Can you see the centre petal holds the flower pattern from the tutu girl stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays!? I found that it adds so much interest to the flower. I also added a layer of vellum petal for soft look(got inapiins from photo at calling all sistahs) Hope you all liked it too.
